Nanxi Liu, 24, is the CEO and Co-Founder of Enplug, a Los Angeles technology company that builds industry-leading software for managing and deploying content onto digital display networks. Enplug’s technology is unique for its realtime social media capabilities and architecture as an open framework. Marriott, Porsche, and 400 other restaurants, malls, and stores around the world use Enplug’s digital signage software. Enplug was named Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 30 Startups to Watch, Inc. Magazine’s Top 5 Women-Led Startups to Watch, and CSQ Magazine’s Top 10 Innovators Under 40.
In college, Nanxi founded Nanoly Bioscience, which develops polymers that enable vaccines to survive without refrigeration. It was named NASA’s Top 10 New Tech Companies and Intel’s Top Social Innovation. Nanxi is a current board member.
Nanxi is on the advisory board of UNICEF’s Chinese Children’s Initiative and Lady Gaga’s Foundation. She received 1 of 7 Mobilize.org’s National Leadership Awards along with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. In 2014, the United States House of Representatives presented Nanxi with the Certificate of Congressional Recognition for her community service work.
Nanxi studied business administration, political economy, and engineering at UC Berkeley.
